Kyphosis Bracing

Kyphosis is a progressive spinal deformity that can worsen with growth.

Bracing is recommended when a Kyphosis progresses beyond 60 degrees as there is a tendency for the curve to continue to worsen even after growth has finished. Surgery is often recommended if the curve is greater than 70 degrees.

With the development of a specialised Kyphosis brace, there is now a bracing treatment for kyphosis in teens and young adults. This brace may not only hold progression, but also reduce the kyphosis, and with the benefit of being low profile the brace is hardly visible under clothing.

The brace is suitable for treating:

  •  Scheuermann’s Kyphosis
  •  Hyper Kyphosis
  •  Thoracolumbar Kyphosis
  • Anterior Sagittal Balance
